Stylianou Liana is a Teacher in Primary Education; she got a degree in the School of Primary Education, a Master’s Degree in “Curriculums and Methodology in Education”. She holds a PhD in Science Education and is a postdoc researcher in Education for sustainability. She worked as a teacher for ten years and as a directress of an Environmental Education Centre for seventeen years. Currently is been working in the position of teachers’ counsellor in the Regional Centre of Educational Planning of Central Macedonia. Her research interests focus on teacher’s professional development and in particular the teaching of Science, Environmental Education and Education for Sustainability by the sociocultural perspective. She has participated in several national and international conferences and has published a number of papers in Greek and international scientific journals and in the proceedings of national conferences.
