Anna Koumara is
a physicist with a master’s degree in Nanotechnology. After 8 years of working
in tutoring schools, she decided to start her Ph.D. in Science Education.
There, she has worked on nature of science and how it could be integrated into
the Science Curriculum in Greek Secondary Education. She has designed prototype
teaching resources and has used many tools to extract valid and reliable
results. As a methodological tool, she has used the Cultural-Historical
Activity Theory. She has participated in actions of @fise group, the most
important of those being the international VASI project on scientific inquiry.
