She holds a degree from the Pedagogical Department of the University of Ioannina and a master’s degree in “Educational Sciences” of the same University. She holds a second master’s degree in “Environmental Sciences and Education for Sustainability” of University of Ioannina. She is a PhD student in the Department of Early Childhood Education, School of Education, University of Ioannina. She is working as a primary school teacher for 11 years and at the past as a member and a directress of an Environmental Education Centre for 10 years. Her research interests include educational methodologies, the Cultural-Historical Activity Theory, education for sustainable development, development of museum educational programs and the Life Cycle of the Materials. She has participated in many national and international conferences and published papers in scientific journals and conference proceedings. She has great experience in designing of environmental educational programs.
